HSE Policy:
At OCC the health and safety of our employees, customers, suppliers and the communities and industries in which we operate is our highest priority.
We strive for management participation and employee involvements at all levels and pride ourselves in working together to create an excellent working environment.
OCC will ensure that all potential hazards, that could cause harm, exposure or nuisance, have been assessed for risk. All risks will be eliminated, as far as is reasonably practicable, or controlled in such a manner as to be acceptable to the Client or those undertaking the work or to any other person that may be affected by the work.

In particular, OCC shall:
  • Comply with all legislative requirements pertaining to safety and health as its minimum standard.
  • Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Ensure safe and legal operation of its company vehicles, and employees when driving on company business.
  • Provide training and instruction, where necessary, to enable employees to perform their work safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a constant and continuing interest in health and safety matters applicable to the Company’s activities, and in particular, by consulting and involving employees
  • Ensure an effective interface with Client Policy, Practice and Procedure whenever Client Site Activity is required to ensure the above are preserved at all times and in all circumstances.

Employees are made aware that they have a legal duty under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 to take reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of themselves and of other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
